Michael Clarke Duncan — best known for his Oscar-nominated role as a death row inmate who possessed magical healing powers in the 1999 film “The Green Mile” — died on Monday at the age of 54, according to his fiancee Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth.
Manigault was with him in his hospital room in Los Angeles and left for a short period of time. When she returned … he had died.
It is said that the actor never fully recovered from the myocardial infarction he suffered on July 13, where his fiancee found him in cardiac arrest and performed CPR and was able to resuscitate him before calling 911.
A rep says, ”[Omarosa] Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date.”
May his soul rest in peace.
